Google, Facebook, Amazon, and other major tech companies thrive on the power of data. In the two-part documentary “The World's Most Dangerous Companies – Big Tech” for ZDFinfo, the business model of these data giants is examined in depth from various angles, highlighting the dangers and dependencies associated with using the digital tools of the largest companies. Surveillance, data trading, and manipulation play a significant role in this context. Commissioned by the production company Nordendfilm, LUMALENSCAPE developed a virtual studio for this program that embeds various assets and archival material into a digital world, connects them, and serves as a bridge to the interviews.
